  • Conformity between individual characteristics and job characteristics will improve employee performance to be optimal and minimize the occurrence of saturation and conflict within a company. The DISC method (Dominance, Influence, Steady, and Compliance) is used to see how the types of individual characteristics and types of job characteristics (job description). This study aims to determine how the suitability between individual characteristics and job characteristics in employees of PT Astra International Tbk - Daihatsu Semarang. In this study using primary data and secondary data in processing data. The method of data collection in this study used a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire aimed at the personality test. The data analysis method used in the study is qualitative with a case study approach. Based on the DISC test results the employee DISC's personality will be seen and analyze the job description into the DISC type, then the employee's profile will be identified according to or not according to the job description. The results of the study from 9 respondents found that 8 respondents' personality profiles in accordance with the job description and 1 respondent were not suitable who would be given advice in the form of recommendations to work that was in accordance with the character of the employee.
