The complexes of 3-amino(pyrid-2-yl)thiourea having the stoichiometry ML2X2, where M-CuII, CoII, NiII ; L-ligand ; X- Ci-, Br-, NO\(\bar{3}\) and CI04 -, have been prepared and characterised by magnetic, conductance, uv and ir spectral studies. The ir spectra reveals bidentate nature of the ligand and the electronic spectra suggest the octahedral geometry.
