  • This purpose research to analyze promotional mix of precious metal in an effort to increase sales in PT Pegadaian (Persero) CPP Lemabang Palembang. This research was conducted by qualitative research method. The writer have information data through interviews and documentation of the company. From the data obtained, that the promotional mix used by PT Pegadaian (Persero) CPP Lemabang Palembang is advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, and public relations / publicity. The results of this research indicate that the promotional mix used by the company, can increase sales precious metals from 2009 to 2012. However, in 2013 the company experienced a decline in sales. Barriers to the sale of this was due to time constraints, licensing constraints, and given the limited funds. Due to a decline in 2013 sales of precious metal products, companies should be more intensively in conducting promotional activities, in order to avoid a decrease in the coming year.
