Kilir” to Promote Tourism Objects in Palembang City”. A development research
method developed by Borg and Gall is used this research. The problem are “What
types of tourism objects are there in Palembang City?” and “What are the strength
of this magazine that can be used as a media promotion?”. The aims of writing
this report are to inform the types of tourism objects in Palembang city and to
know the strengthnes of the tourism magazine. The method of this report is
Research and Development (R&D). The research instruments used field-testing
and triangulation. Based on the finding, the writer found the strengths of this
magazine that can be used as a media promotion into printed media. The
conclusion and suggestion are this magazine will be a guidance for visitors and
the students get creative to collaborate skills into technology through era of
globalizations.
