Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan : A (kontrol), B (100 ppm ekstrak ubi jalar merah), C (200 ppm ekstrak ubi jalar merah), D (300 ppm ekstrak ubi jalar merah), dan E (400 ppm ekstrak ubi jalar merah) dengan tiga kali ulangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan Uji Kruskal-Wallis dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Z. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan ekstrak ubi jalar merah sebagai sumber karotenoid alami dalam pakan memberikan hasil yang tidak berbeda nyata antar perlakuan.
