- THE USE OF VARIOUS SAVINGS AND STORAGE TIMES ON SEED GROWTH (Theobroma cacao L.) Supervised by Ir. Abdul Madjid, MP Ummatun Marhummah Plantation Crop Cultivation Study Program Department of Agricultural Production ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the success of storing cocoa seeds using various storage media. This research was conducted in November 2019 - January 2020 at the Green House Plant Laboratory, State Polytechnic of Jember. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with the first factor using various storage media and the second factor was storage time, there were 15 treatment combinations and 3 replications. The storage time factor consists of 5 media, namely Kolven, aluminum foil, husk charcoal, sawdust and fungicide. The entry length factor consists of 3 levels, 4 days, 8 days, and 12 days. Further testing was carried out by further testing BNJ (Real Difference Honest) with a level of 5%. The results showed that the use of various storage media was significantly different from the storage time. Keywords: Storage Media, Storage Time, Storage Success
