ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the success of storing cocoa seeds using various storage media. This research was conducted in November 2019 - January 2020 at the Green House Plant Laboratory, State Polytechnic of Jember. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with the first factor using various storage media and the second factor was storage time, there were 15 treatment combinations and 3 replications. The storage time factor consists of 5 media, namely Kolven, aluminum foil, husk charcoal, sawdust and fungicide. The entry length factor consists of 3 levels, 4 days, 8 days, and 12 days. Further testing was carried out by further testing BNJ (Real Difference Honest) with a level of 5%. The results showed that the use of various storage media was significantly different from the storage time.
