  • The loading rate performance in 2017 shows that the automatic engine performance is smaller than the manual engine performance, this can disrupt the cement production target of 53 tons / hour in the automatic line packer. From this problem, what are the factors that affect the automatic decline in loading rate performance and how is the proposed improvement. To be able to find out the factors that influence the decrease in automatic loading rate performance and the proposed improvements, it uses the seven tools and fault tree analysis methods and the seven tools method used is a check sheet, fishbone diagram, map control (control chart) and pareto diagram (pareto analysis). From the purpose of this study to determine the factors that cause loading rate in automatic line packer and to determine the proposed improvement in loading rate using the seven tools method and fault tree analysis. To be able to optimize the loading rate performance, the seven tools method and the fault tree analysis are applied with the help of the 5 W + 1 H method. From the results of the case study at PT. Cemindo Gemilang in the dispatch department found that the influence of the declining loading rate was caused by several factors, one of which was the old truck setting of 23.64% and a priority improvement to improve the loading rate performance. Proposed improvement in loading rates by conducting training, making regulations, conducting socialization, periodic maintenance and adding 8 spouts and 2500 rpm.
