- Abstract: The development of tourism in the regions is very important, because it affects the economy of local people. The beach tourism object in Pujiharjo village, has the potential of the beauty of its beaches that differ from other beaches in Malang district. Thus, the authors feel the need to study deeper based on the perspective of coastal tourism in the application of the region. The purpose of this research is to describe the potential of the region in the village of Tirtoyudo Pujiharjo District Malang in the perspective of coastal tourism development. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis using triangulation and reference checking, the determination of the informant using snowball sampling and the head of the village head, local community, and tourist visitors became the key informant in this study. Based on the analysis, there is a need to strengthen the potential of the region in the tourism sector and the need for infrastructure development and cooperation of all villagers with the district government and the mental build up of society in Manage tourism places for the beach tourism in the village of Pujiharjo worthy to be made a tourist destination that has a good impact to the local community economy. Keywords: Development Perspective; Beach Tourism; Regional Potentials. Abstrak: Pengembangan pariwisata di daerah-daerah sangat penting, karena berpengaruh pada perekonomian masyarakat setempat. Obyek wisata pantai di desa Pujiharjo, memiliki potensi mengenai keindahan pantainya yang berbeda dari pantai lainnyayang ada di kabupaten Malang. Dengan demikian, penulis merasa perlu mengkaji lebih dalam berdasarkan perspektif pembagunan wisata pantai pada penerapan potesi wilayah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikanpotensi wilayah yang ada di Desa Pujiharjo Kecamatan Tirtoyudo Kabupaten Malang dalam perspektif pembangunan wisata pantai. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisa data menggunakan Triangulasi dan pengecekan referensi, penentuan informan menggunakan snowball samplingdan kepalakepala desa, masyarakat setempat, dan pengunjung wisata menjadi key informan pada penelitian ini. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis,perlu adanya penguatan potensi wilayah dalam sektor pariwisata serta dibutuhkan pembangunan infrastruktur dan kerja sama seluruh masyarakat desa dengan pihak pemerintah kabupaten serta membangun mental masyarakat dalam mengelola tempat pariwisata agar wisata pantai yang ada di desa Pujiharjo layak untuk di jadikan tujuan wisata sehingga berdampak baik bagi perekonomian masyarakat setempat.
