Pengaruh Intensitas Penggunaan Handphone dan Pergaulan Teman Sebaya terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa

  • Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) intensitas penggunaan handphone siswa kelas V SD Se-Kecamatan Kraton Yogyakarta. (2) pergaulan teman sebaya siswa kelas V SD Se-Kecamatan Kraton Yogyakarta. (3) motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Se-Kecamatan Kraton Yogyakarta. (4) pengaruh intensitas penggunaan handphone terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Se-Kecamatan Kraton Yogyakarta.(5) pengaruh pergaulan teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Se-Kecamatan Kraton Yogyakarta. (6) pengaruh intensitas penggunaan handphone dan pergaulan teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Se-Kecamatan Kraton Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SD Se-kecamatan kraton Yogyakarta. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 315 siswa setelah diambil menggunakan rumus slovin dan menggunakan teknik ramdom sampling diperoleh sampel 176 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data digunakan regresi dua predictor, yang sebelumnya dilakukan uji normalitas,linieritas, dan multikolinieritas. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) intensitas penggunaan handphone berada di kategori sedang (60,79%). (2) pergaulan teman sebaya berada di kategori tinggi (80,11%). (3) motivasi belajar siswa berada di kategori tinggi (79,54%).(4) ada pengaruh negatif yang signifikan intensitas penggunaan handphone terhadap motivasi belajar siswa (t = -7,825; sig = 0,000 < 0,05), (5) ada pengaruh positif yang signifikan pergaulan teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa (t = 13,469; sig =0,000 < 0,05), (6) ada pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan antara intensitas penggunaan handphone dan pergaulan teman sebaya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa (f = 101,825; sig 0,000 < 0,05). Abstract The purpose of this research is to know: (1) the intensity of the use of mobile class V students of grade SD at sub-district of Yogyakarta Kingdom .(2) association of peers of students of grade V SD at sub-district of Yogyakarta Kingdom. (3) the motivation to learn the students of grade V SD at sub-district of Yogyakarta Kingdom.(4)the influence of the intensity of the use of mobile phones to the motivation of learning grade V SD at sub-district of Yogyakarta Kingdom.(5) the influence of peers association to the motivation of learning grade V SD at sub-district of Yogyakarta Kingdom.(6) the effect of the intensity of the use of mobile phones and the association of peers towards the motivation of learning the students of grade V SD at sub-district of Yogyakarta Kingdom. This research is quantitative research. The subjects of this study are elementary school students in the sub-district of Yogyakarta Kingdom. The population of the research are 315 student after samples using slovin formula and using random sampling technique obtained a sample of 176 student. Data collection techniques used questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used two predictors of regression, previously tested for normality, linearity, and multicollinearity. The conclusion of this research are: (1) the intensity of the use of mobile phone is in the medium category (60.79%). (2) association of peers is in high category (80,11%.)(3) tudent's learning motivation is in high category (79,54%). (4) there was a significant negative effect of the intensity of the use of mobile phone to the student's learning motivation (t = -7,825; sig = 0,000 <0,05); (5) there was significant positive influence of peer association towards student learning motivation (t = 13,469; sig = 0,000 <0,05); (6) there was significant influence simultaneously between the intensity of mobile phone use and peer association to student learning motivation (f = 101,825; sig 0,000 <0,05).
