- This research aims to analyze the control of raw material supplies at PT Kayu Asli Murni in Samarinda in 2017. The research method used is the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method to determine the optimal raw material order, the reorder point, the safety stock and the total cost of inventory (TIC). The results of this study showed that the policy of procurement of raw materials that was done by PT Kayu Asli Murni in Samarinda in 2017 is not optimal, in the sense of the cost of its availability is still greater than when the company Using the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method. The total cost of raw material supplies in PT Kayu Murni Asli Murni in 2017 according to the company's policy is Rp213.353.300, while the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) analysis is the amount of total cost of wood raw materials Log Rp41.823.992 So there is a savings of Rp171.529.308. The application of EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method of PT Kayu Murni Genuine in Samarinda is more optimal than the simple method used by the company
