  • The objectives of the research are: (1) to analyze the practicality of the implementation of guided discovery learning at SMAN I Bambalamotu, (2) in general, to analyze the difference of Physics learning results between the students who were taught by using guided discovery learning and conventional learning, (3) in particular for the students with high learning interests, to analyze the difference of Physics learning results between the students who were taught by using guided discovery learning and conventional learning, (4) in particular for the students with low learning interests, to analyze the difference of Physics learning results between the students who were taught by using guided discovery learning and conventional learning, (5) to analyze the influence of the interaction between the utilizing of learning model and learning interests on the students' Physics learning results. The research was experiment research with factorial 2x2 design. The results of the research reveal that (1) the implementation of guided discovery learning at SMAN 1 Bambalamotu is in high and practical category, (2) there is a difference of Physics learning results between the students who were taught by using guided discovery learning and the ones taught by conventional learning in class XI at SMAN I Bambalamotu, (3) in terms of the students with high learning interests, there is a difference of Physics learning results between the students who were taught by using guided discovery learning and the ones taught by using conventional learning in class XI at SMAN 1 Bambalamotu, (4) in terms of the students with low learning interests, there is a difference of Physics learning results between the students who were taught by using guided discovery learning and the ones taught by using conventional learning in class XI at SMAN 1 Bambalamotu, (5) there is no interaction between learning model and learning interests in the achievements of Physics learning results of class XI students at SMAN 1 Bambalamotu.
