- This research was classroom action research (PTK) which aims to improve learning outcomes math cooperative learning model with throwing snowball method to class X SMA Negeri 1 Bonai Darussalam totaling 25 students. The study consisted of two cycles with the first cycle (first) and consists of three meetings and one daily test first and the second cycle (two) and consists of three meetings and one daily tests II. The data collection techniques in this study was done by using achievement test and observation techniques. Mechanical observations were made with the observation sheet. In addition, this study analyzed the number of students who reached KKM 70, by comparing scores before action after action that aims to determine whether there were an increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes before and after implementation of cooperative learning model with throwing snowball method. From the results of the study showed an increase learning outcomes math class X SMA Negeri 1 Bonai Darussalam. In the first cycle of the number of 25 students only 15 students who reached the KKM, while in the second cycle, which reached KKM of 25 students there are 19 students with a percentage of 73.6%.
