- ABSTRAK Gastritis merupakan suatu keadaan yang sering dan banyak dijumpai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Setiap hari sering kita temukan penderita yang datang berobat dengan keluhan di saluran makan bagian atas dan cenderung meningkat setiap tahun. Kekambuhan yang berulang dapat menyebabkan terjadi penyakit lanjutan seperti kanker lambung dan perdarahan pada lambung. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat pengetahuan pasien mengenai pencegahan komplikasi gastritis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan aksidental sampling sehingga didapatkan 98 responden. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 70,4% termasuk dalam ketegori baik, sedikit dari responden yaitu sebanyak 20,4% masuk dalam kategori cukup baik, serta 9,2% kurang baik. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah untuk diadakannya penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi dalam meningkatnya penderita gastritis. Almost on every day, we often find people who come for treatment with complaints at the top of the flume feed, and this case tends to increase every year. Repeated recurrence can cause a advanced disease such as gastric cancer and gastric bleeding. The aims is to find an overview of knowledge about the prevention of complications of gastritis patients. This study is a type of quantitative research with descriptive method, . The research was conducted with 98 respondents using Simple Random Sampling technique.The measurement used in this study is a quitionare. The results of this study indicate that patients' knowledge about the prevention of complications of gastritis, the vast majority of respondents is 70,4% belongs to the well category, a few of the respondents is 20.4% fall into that category quite well, and 9.2% is less good. Suggestions from this study is to further the holding of the other research on the factors of influence of the increasing of relaps from gastritis.
