- ABSTRAK Kesalahan dalam tatalaksana laktasi merupakan salah satu alasan mengapa ibu berhenti menyusui sebelum bayi berusia 6 bulan sehingga berdampak pada penurunan angka cakupan ASI eksklusif di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses laktasi ibu dengan bayi usia 0-6 bulan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dekriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 49 orang, dilakukan di Desa Cibeusi Kecamatan Jatinangor pada tanggal 1-11 Juni 2012. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner dan lembar observasi dengan teknik analisa data menggunakan rumus frekuensi dan persentase serta skor rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses laktasi yaitu 47% ibu menunjukkan kondisi payudara dan perawatannya kurang baik, 55% ibu menunjukkan teknik menyusui yang kurang baik, 55% ibu menunjukkan posisi menyusui yang baik, 57% ibu menunjukkan frekuensi dan durasi pemberian ASI yang baik serta 61% ibu berada pada status nutrisi yang baik saat menyusui. Terlihat bahwa sebagian besar ibu belum melakukan keseluruhan hal yang mendukung proses laktasi dengan baik. Sehingga peran pelayanan kesehatan sangatlah penting untuk memberikan penyuluhan berkaitan dengan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses laktasi. Kata kunci : Bayi, Ibu, Laktasi ABSTRACT Wrong conducts in the management of lactation was one of the reasons why mothers should stop giving breastfeeding before the baby reached at least 6 months. The study should impacted on the coverage rate of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to identify factors that influence the process of lactation mother with baby aged 0-6 months. This study was a quantitative-descriptive study with 49 people as samples, in Cibeusi Jatinangor on 1-11 June 2012. Instruments used in the form of questionnaires and observation sheets with data analysis technique using the formulas as well as frequency, percentage and mean score. Results showed measured from the indicators that have been made, 47% of women showed poor breast conditions and treatment, 55% of mothers showed poor breastfeeding technique, 55% of mothers showed a good feeding position, 57% of mothers showed good breastfeeding frequency and duration, and 61% of mothers ware in a good nutritional status while nursing. It appears that most mothers do not do the whole thing to support the process of lactation properly. Therefore, the role of health care services are very important to provide counseling related to factors that influence the process of lactation. Key words: Baby, Lactation, Mother
