Title of the research is “Correlation Between Event “Pemberian Beasiswa Pikiran Rakyat” with Attitude of Scholarship Recipient to Pikiran Rakyat”. Counselor of this research are Dr. Suwandi Sumartias, M.Si. as a primary counselor and Drs. Rosnandar Romli, M.Si. as a secondary counselor. The purpose of this research is to determine the correlations between information valence and value of event “Pemberian Beasiswa Pikiran Rakyat” with cognitive, afective, and konative aspect of scholarship recepient to Pikiran Rakyat. The method of this research is correlation method with Rank Spearman (rs) test of hypothesis. Techniques of data analysis are descriptive and inferential data analysis. Number of respondents in this research 72 peoples who are Pikiran Rakyat’s scholarship recepient selected through proportionate stratified random sampling techniques. Techniques of data collections is done using questionnaires, interview, observations, dan study of literature. This research uses the theory of Integration Information by Martin Feishbein. The result of this research are a low but definite correlation between information valence of event “Pemberian Beasiswa Pikiran Rakyat” with cognitive and afective aspect of scholarship recipient to Pikiran Rakyat. Significant correlation between information valence of event “Pemberian Beasiswa Pikiran Rakyat” with conative aspect of scholarship recipient to Pikiran Rakyat. A low but definite correlation between information value of event “Pemberian Beasiswa Pikiran Rakyat” with cognitive aspect of scholarship recipient to Pikiran Rakyat. And significant correlation between information value of event “Pemberian Beasiswa Pikiran Rakyat” with afective and conative aspect of scholarship recipient to Pikiran Rakyat. The conclusion of this research is s significant correlation between event “Pemberian Beasiswa Pikiran Rakyat” with attitude of scholarship recipient to Pikiran Rakyat. The suggests of this research for event “Pemberian Beasiswa Pikiran Rakyat” are Pikiran Rakyat should give more information at event “Pemberian Beasiswa Pikiran Rakyat” so the scholarship recipient can get more knowledge from this event and make some gathering for scholarship recipient and Pikiran Rakyat.
