- The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between exposure of Reportase Investigasi TRANS TV with the housewife’s perception on crimes and fraud. This study is based on the cultivation theory. The method used is the quantitative approach with correlation analysis to find a correlation between two or more variables.The study population were all the housewives in Bandung aged 21-40 years of or older or exactly 251 people using Cluster Sampling technique 72 samples are obtained.The results of these studies show that there is a significant correlation between two variables, which are the exposure of Reportase Investigasi TRANS TV with the housewife’s perception on crimes and fraud. Analysis of studies have shown that exposure which consists the duration, frequency, message structure, message styles, and messages can affect the attractiveness of knowledge and understanding of the housewives in crime and fraud. Keywords: the housewife’s perception on crimes and fraud
