KARAKTERISTIK MORFOTEKTONIK SUB DAS CIMANUK SEBAGAI RESPON TEKTONIK AKTIF DAERAH GARUT DAN SEKITARNYA, PROVINSI JAWA BARAT

  • Berdasarkan fisiografi regional, DAS Cimanuk termasuk dalam ZonaVulkanik Kuarter, Zona Bandung, Zona Bogor, dan Zona Pegunungan Selatan.Berdasarkan stratigrafi regional, DAS Cimanuk terdiri dari 28 formasi batuanyang didominasi batuan vulkanik.Karakteristik morfometri dan morfotektonik DAS Cimanuk terdiri dariluas, panjang, dan lebar DAS, bentuk DAS, rasio cabang sungai, kerapatan sungai,pola aliran sungai, dan sinusitas muka gunung.Karakteristik DAS berupa rasiocabang sungai, kerapatan sungai, dan sinusitas muka gunung menjadi acuan dalamkajian morfotektonik ini.Berdasarkan uji statistik, diperoleh bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rataratanilai Ddantar subDAS Cimanuk berdasarkan aspek litologi dan luas.Berdasarkan uji statistik, diperoleh bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rataRbantar subDAS Cimanuk berlitologi batuan vulkanik dengan batuan sedimennamun terdapat perbedaan rata-rata Rb antar subDAS Cimanuk dengan luaskurang dari 15 km2 dengan luas lebih dari 15 km2. Pada sinusitas muka gunungdiperoleh bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata Smf di bagian barat denganbagian timur blok DAS Cimanuk.Kata kunci : morfotektonik, morfometri, DAS, CimanukBased on regional physiography, Cimanuk watershed included QuaternaryVolcanic Zone, Bandung Zone, Bogor Zone, and Southern Mountains Zone. Basedon regional stratigraphy, Cimanuk watershed consist of twenty eight rockformations dominated by volcanic rocks.Morphometry and morphotectonic characteristics of Cimanuk watershedconsist of broad, length, and width of watershed, form of wathershed, bifurcationratios, drainage density, drainage patern, and mountain front sinuosity index. Thewatershed characteristics like bifurcation ratios, drainage patern, and mountainfront sinuosity index are references in this morphotectonic study.Based on statistical test, there is no average difference of drainage densityinter-sub watersheds of Cimanuk, both from lithology and broad aspects. Basedon statistical test, there is no average difference of bifurcation ratio inter-subwatersheds with volcanic rocks and sedimentary rocks. However, there areaverage differences inter-sub watersheds of Cimanuk with area less than 15 km2and more than 15 km2. In the aspect of mountain front sinuosity index, there is noaverage difference between western and eastern of Cimanuk watershed.Key words : morphotectonic, morphometry, watershed, Cimanuk
