- Participation became one of indicators that determine the ability and the success ofTlogoweru Village in the utilization of owl. Given the importance of participation, thisquantitative descriptive thesis research entitled “Analysis of Participation by Rice Farmer inUtilization of Owl (Tyto alba) in Tlogoweru Village, Demak Regency” aims to 1) know theinternal and external factors that influence farmer participation and 2) analyze the influenceof internal and external factors against farmer participation. The research was carried out inTlogoweru Village, Guntur District, Demak Regency from December 2014 until March 2015with 30 respondents. Retrieval of respondents performed with simple random samplingmethod and using the questionnaire as a tool of the interview. The obtained data were testedusing t-test, F-test, the classical assumptions test and analyzed by multiple linear regressionanalysis. Research result concluded that: 1. Simultaneously, internal factors (age, education,length of stay, occupation, number of rubuha) and external factors (leadership,communication, learning process) have real effect against participations. 2. While partially,the internal factors that influence against participation are age, education, length of stay,occupation and number of rubuha. From the external factors that influence participation areleadership and learning process.
