- This research is aimed at finding out the inferiority feeling on disabled teenagers and their striving to handle their feeling of inferiority. The disabled teenagers tend to feel inferior and tend to have such as feeling like to be alone, useless, meaningless, and often feeling stress or frustrated when they cannot do anything they want. The inferiority feeling may appear in certain situation based on their experiences. The inferiority theory used in this research is based on the theory by Adler (1964). This research was conducted from September 2004 to March 2005, using qualitative methods (depth interview) on disabled teenagers, aged 12 – 23 years. Results indicated that the feeling of inferiority and the act of compensation are related to their talent, interest, and ability.
