- This study investigates determine the effect of transformational and transactional leadership styles of principals and teachers to emphasize the emotional intelligence to stress among primary school teachers. Stress is the body's response against non-specific nature of any load demands it. transformational leadership is the interaction between leaders and employees marked by the influence of leaders to change employee behavior. transactional leadership style is the style of leadership that emphasizes transactions or exchanges that occur between the leaders, colleagues and subordinates. Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand your feelings, empathize with the feelings of others and to manage emotions, which together play a role in improving the quality of life. Data obtained through 4 gauge a measure of stress, leadership style transformational measurement tools, measuring tools transactional leadership style and emotional intelligence measuring instrument. Transformational and transactional leadership style of principals and teachers emotional intelligence said to affect the stress on elementary school teachers (R2 = 0.647; p = 0.000). Multiple linear regression analysis states that transformational leadership and transactional leadership style and emotional intelligence principals 64.7% teachers contribute to stress on primary teachers.
