Nielsen, ethanol 96% phase, antidiabetic, -glucosidase (E) Archidendron jiringa (Jengkol) is a one of the plants that are widely consumed by the people of Indonesia and has potential as a alternative treatment. Based on literature, jengkol has antidiabetic dan antioxsidant activity. In this research, we conducted extraction and identification of chemical compound from jengkol seeds and ethanol 96% extract, was classified as alkaloids, flavonoids, saponin, triterpenoid, essential oil, coumarin. Maceration carried out using ethanol 96%, extract which obtained then by multilevel partition method using n-hexane, and ethyl acetate. Extracts of jengkol seeds were tested inhibiting -glukosidase enzyme in-vitro, showed that ethanol 96% extract was the most active extract with % inhibision 92,19%. Partition was conducted using thin layer chromatography, column chromatography and preparative thin layer chromatography. Gave isolate EtOH-3-2, have IC50 60,93 ppm and acarbose as positive control IC50 20,18 ppm. Chemical structure determination wa done based on analyzed with UVVis, FT-IR and KG-SM, the compound contained in isolate EtOH-3-2 based on Willey 275.L. can be predicted as Benzene, 1,1’-[ethylidenebis(oxy-2,1-ethanediyl)]bis- (F) Reference: 31 piece (1979-2018) (G) Dra.
