- Mud crab (Scylla sp) belonging commodity that has a very high sale value and an export commodity. A high value of mud crabs could lead to the rise in fishing activities in nature without any attempt to preserve it. This study aimed to quantify the abundance of mud crabs and knowing the diversity, uniformity and dominance mud crab. This study was conducted in February 2015 in the Waters Tebo Estuary Nelayan Satu Sungailiat. Retrieving data using purposive sampling method to determine the station by selecting the area that represents the location of research and share three stations. Results showed that the abundance of mud crab (Scylla sp) ranging between 0-11 (ind / 400m2). Diversity of mangrove crab 0, uniformity 1, and dominance 1. mangrove crab abundance is low, this is due in February is not the season of mud crab.
