  • The aim of research to prove Effect Socratic Learning Method Learning Outcomes of Students Against Lesson In Economics in SMAN 11 Palembang,This research is an experimental research study design using True Experimental Design of Post Test Only Control Design. Population in this research is all class X IPS SMAN 11 Palembang in the second semester of academic year 2018/2019. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling that is by a draw in order to obtain class X IPS 5 as an experimental class and X IPS 4 as the control class.Data collection techniques used are tests and observation. Data analysis technique used is the analysis result data obtained from the study of students and post-test results are grouped in the category of minimum completeness (KKM) and analysis of observational data obtained from the observation that given observer during the learning takes place. In parametric statistical hypothesis testing using t-test, namely (polled Varian) and acquiredt (8.6194)> t table (1.9944) then the hypothesis Ha Ho accepted and rejected.It can be concluded no influence the influence of the Socratic teaching methods to the study of students in economic subjects in SMAN 11 Palembang, It is advisable to apply the Socratic teaching method is more directed learners teachers to provide questions and answer the questions in the learning process.
