  • This study aims to determine the Effect of Combination Ointment between Snakehead Fish (Channa striata) meet with chicken egg white on the wound healing process in mice (Mus muscullus) swiss webster. Study conducted on November until Juni 2019 in Botany Laboratory of Biology Education, Indralaya. The method used is an experimental method with a randomized block design (RBD) that consisting of six treatments and four replications. The treatment consisted of P0 (control), P1 (100 g of Snakehead Fishmeet extract), P2 (combination of 100 g Snakehead Fishmeet and 100 gram egg white extract), P3 (combination of 100 g Snakehead Fishmeet and 200 g egg white extract), P4 (combination of 200 g Snakehead Fishmeet and 100 g egg white extract). The back of mice were slashed along 20mm with a depth of 2mm (stage 2 wound) from epidermal tissue to dermis tissue. Each treatment was given an ointment of extract with a dose of 0.200 g and rubbed each ointment twice daily (morning and evening) for 13 days. Data analysis uses Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Duncan’s Distance Difference Test (DDDT). The results show that combination ointment between snakehead Fish (Channa striata) meet with chicken egg white extract have very significnt effect on the wound healing process in mice (Mus muscullus) swiss webster. Based on DDDT further test the wound healing process in mice with the most effective time velocity in the treatment of P2 (4 days) and treatment of recovery longer than each other treatment, namely at P0 (control) it can be concluded that the recommended treatment for wound healing ointment is P2 (extract of cork fish and egg white extract 1: 1).
