- Indigofera zollingeriana has high nutritional quality and can maximize rumen function to increase nutrient, especially protein, minerals and energy for ruminants. The aim of this research was to study the effect of Indigofera zollingeriana pellet of pH value, dry matter digestibility (KBK), concentration of N-Ammonia and SCFA (Short Chain Fatty Acid) in vitro. This research was conducted in October 2018 at the Laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Food, Animal Husbandry and Industry Department, Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The study was conducted in vitro using an experimental method with 2 treatments P 0 (Concentrate 100%) and P 1 (Indigofere zollingeriana 70% + Bran 29% + Premix 1%), each treatments has 5 repetitions. Dry matter digestibility, concentration of N-Ammonia, SCFA (Short Chain Fatty Acid) and pH value were observed as parameters. The results showed that pellet of Indigofera zollingeriana has significantly different on dry matter digestibility, concentration of N-Ammonia and SCFA (Short Chain Fatty Acid). All the highest values were found in Indigofera zollingeriana are 25.28% for dry matter digestibility, 7.90 mM for concentration of N-Ammonia and 180.51 mM for SCFA.
