  • The purpose of this study was to knowing at the influence of sociodrama techniques in group guidance services on the ability of social interaction of low students in the Muhammadiyah 5 Junior High School in Palembang. The method used in this study was Pre-experimental with one group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample was obtained using a purposive sampling technique with 30 students and 8 of them were sampled as group members. The results showed that the process of sociodrama technique in group guidance services at Muhammadiyah Middle School 5 Palembang had been carried out in accordance with the stages in group guidance and group dynamics had occurred to form students' self-awareness to interact.
