  • This study aimed to examine the effect of active learning strategy of Modeling The Way on the students’ learning results in economics subject in State Senior High School 3 Tanjung Raja. This was experimental study that used Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Post Test Only Control Design. The population of this study were all of the 11th grade social sciences students in State Senior High School 3 Tanjung Raja in the even semester of academic year 2018/2019. The sampling technique used Cluster Random Sampling and the sample obtained the first 11th grade social sciences as the experimental class and the second 11th grade social sciences as the control class. The hypothesis used parametric statistics which was pearson product moment correlation obtained as many as 0,926 which was strong value, the effect magnitude of variable X to variable Y with determinant coefficient was 85,7% and the results of t-test (Polled Varian) and obtained that > were 9,36 > 1,99 so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. So that, it could be concluded that there was the effect of active learning starategy of Modeling The Way on the students’ learning results in economics subject in State Senior High School 3 Tanjung Raja. It is recommended teachers must guide students to create a learning scenario that will be demonstrated. In order to the students don’t look confused when conducting a demonstration in front of the class. Keywords : Modeling The Way, Learning results
