  • The objective of the research was to find ou~ analyze, and prove empically the influence of the implementation of balanced scorecard on the employees' perf onnance at the Culture Office of Palembang. The population was all 109 employees who worked at the Culture Office of Palembang and the visitors, and 45 of them were used as the samples, taken by using random sampling technique. The data were gathered by conducting at survey and using questionnaires which were distributed to the respondents and analyzed by using multiple regression analysis. The result of the research showed that the concept of balanced scorecard, consisted of financial perpective, consumer perspective, internal business process perpective, and learning and growth perspective partially influenced the employess' perfonnance at the Culture Office of Palembang.
