- This study aimed to obtain information about the effect of jigsaw type cooperative learning model of high-order thinking skills learners on the material grade digestive system XI SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja. This research used Quasi Experimental method with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique was done with Simple Random Sampling, it was acquired as the research sample that class XI IPA 1 as experiment class and class XI IPA 2 as control class. Methods of data collection was done by the test in the form of multiple choice questions. Comparison of mean value of final test of experiment class is 72,43 while control class equal to 62,34. Based on statistical test using SPSS Mann-Whitney, probability value (significance) of 0,000 then Ha hypothesis accepted so the cooperative learning model type jigsaw has a significant effect to high-order thinking skills students on the material digestive system class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja.
