  • This final report aims to simulate an explanation of data transmission with the CSMA / CA process based on Random Access Opportunistic. As for the background of this writing, there is often a process of sending lost data due to missing connections and data collisions before reaching the receiving node, so that the specified QoS parameters are not met, because there is flooding or data flooding. The scenario used is a variation of the number of nodes, namely 10 nodes and 50 nodes, then there are variations in speed, namely 7.2km / hour and 28.8km / hour. This random access opportunistic focuses on scheduling data delivery according to channel quality and package type quality. Opportunistic Random Access produces an average Delay value for 10 Nodes of 0.0295ms which decreases to 0.0206ms when using the Opportunistic Random Access method, then for the Delay result that uses 50 Nodes at 0.0232ms and decreases to 0.022ms if Opportunistic is added Random Access. From the final results of the study using Carrier Sense Multiple Access / Collision Avoidance (CSMA / CA) can provide an overview of network performance by clearly displaying throughput, delay, jitter and Overhead Routing CSMA / CA protocol.
