PENERAPAN VIRTUAL LOCAL AREA NETWORK MENGGUNAKAN OVS PADA JARINGAN VIRTUAL MACHINE BERBASIS PROMISCUOUS MODE

- The application of virtual local area networks (VLAN) network system currently widely used by education institute, public locations, and LAN office affairs. Utilization of this network system makes possible to divide a physical conection on a LAN into several logical connections. This research using a virtual machine, then to the application support of VLAN using OVS. OVS is a virtual switch software have functions to connect devices on a networks system. Computer network is built using a virtual machine with on interface controller which promiscuous mode serves to allow and intercept data package entering the networks. This research uses observation method for each implementation and testing, also literature as method to purposes data and information. The result of this research are virtual devices that are connected using OVS on a virtual machine ussigned VLAN network system could be bridging networks and virtual machines with promiscuous mode.
