  • This research aims to (1) to analyse the farmers income in Tri MulyaAgung Village before and after decreasing the coconuts price “dalam”. (2) to analise farmers home food consumtion and find out how the farmers households in Tri mulyaAgung Village are categorized as food-based on the proportion of household consumption expenditure. (3) to identify the coconut farmers adaptation “dalam” in facing the declining of coconut price in Tri MulyaAgung Village.This research was conducted in February 2019 in Tri Mulya Agung Village, Lalan District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This study used a survey method. The results of this study are (1) there is a significant difference between the income of farmer households before and after decliningthe coconut price with an average income before the price was Rp57.845.228,00 peryear and after decreasing of coconut is Rp32.119.547,00 per year. (2) In 2016, there were 23 out of 38 households of coconut farmer "dalam" or 60,53 percent were included in the category of food vulnerable. In 2018 there was an increasing of 32 out of 38 farmer households or 84,21 percent in the category of food vulnerable. (3) The adaptation strategy which has been done by the farmers in Tri MulyaAgung Village is an economic such as utilized savings, looking for side jobs, borrowed money in the bank, reduced food and non food consumption, selling jewelry, rented the field, reduced production factors, while social adaptation strategi such as asked family help, utilized social networks, asked for help from neighbors, and empowered the role of wife.
