  • This research aims to know about the effect of scientific approaches to the skills of science process learners on circulation topic in class XI IPA SMA 14 Palembang. The research method used is Quasi Experimental with research design nonequivalen Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sampling technique was done with random sampling technique. The data collected was done in class XI IPA 1 (experimental class) and XI IPA 3 (Control class) with 30 students each. The instrument used in this research is the question of KPS using multiple choice questions. The increase of students' science process skills can be seen from the difference in the average value of the experimental class final test of 84,40, gain of 18,97 and n-gain of 0,54 in the medium category while the average value of the control class end test is 70,80, gain of 10,70 and n-gain of 0,25 with low category. The analysis of hypothesis test data by using Mann Whitney obtained by Asymp.sig (2-tailed) value is 0,000 whose probability is below 0,05 then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. The conclusion is that there is a significant influence of the application of scientific approach of circulation system topic to the science process skills of students in class XI IPA SMA 14 Palembang
