  • This classroom action research has the purpose of improving the child's courageous character. The subject of this research is the children of group B TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Sungai Pinang Ogan Ilir with the number of 15 children. This research was conducted 2 cycles, each cycle consisted of 3 meetings. Each meeting is held 4 stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data were taken by action test using the observation sheet. Each cycle is done by research with the test of average action. If the value of the action test does not meet the established criteria then proceed to cycle 2 which will improve treatment based on reflection in cycle 1. The result of data analysis, obtained an increase from cycle 1 to cycle 2. In a row the value of children who got the minimum category develop as expected is 10 people or 67% in cycle I, and in cycle II increased to 13 people or 87%. This can be seen also in cycle 1 the dominant indicator appears is the attitude to do something without worrying difficulties. In cycle 2 the dominant indicator appears is being able to deal with something with enormous confidence. While the less talk or say what he wants. For that at the next researcher to train more telling indicators or say what children want. The results show that using mother tongue can improve the character of children's courage through mother tongue in child group B in Aisyiyah BustanulAthfal TK Sungai Pinang Ogan Ilir.
