  • This research entitled Development of educational game tools of snakes ladder mathematics material for children aged 5-6 years. This study aims to develop educational game tools educative snake ladder mathematics material that is valid and practical. The development of educational game tools of mathematical ladder snakes uses a combination of Rowntree's development model and Tessmer's evaluation. Rowntree development model consists of three stages, namely the planning stage, development stage and evaluation phase. Researchers used the modification of formative evaluation from Tessmer into 4 stages, because to see the validity and practicality of educational game tools of snake ladder of mathematical material that the researcher develop, that is self evaluation stage, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. Data collection techniques using walkthrough, observation, and interview. Walkthrough to see the validity of the development of educational game tools for snakes ladder mathematics material for children aged 5-6 years addressed to materials experts and design experts. The result of expert review obtained the average value of the assessment results from content / material experts and design experts of 4.00 (very valid category). Evidently the average expert review for observations at the one-to-one evaluation stage on the use of educational game tools of mathematical ladder snakes has an average of 87% (very practical) for children. Based on the results of the small group evaluation stage getting the average on the use of educational game tools snake ladder math material has an average of 93% (very practical category) for children. Based on the description and data analysis of the research results found that educational game tool products educated snakes ladder mathematical material developed very valid and practical, so it can be used as a medium of learning children aged 5-6 years.
