The purpose of this study is to determine the perfonnance of the Dinas Pendidikan Kota Palembang which can be measured from the Performance Accountability Report of Government Agencies in 2016 by using the concept of Value For Money (economic, efficient. and effectiveness). This research is descriptive by using secondary data from the official website of Dinas Pendidikan Kota Palembang. The results of this study show that the Performance Report of the Education Department of Palembang City in terms of economics can be said to be economically seen in every program always make budget savings. Efficient facets can be said to be inefficient, and in terms of effectiveness of the office of Education is very effective in using its members because it reaches a ratio of 100% in each program.
