PENERAPAN METODE LEFT CORNER PARSING UNTUK MENANGANI MASALAH KALIMAT AMBIGU

- The problem which is often encountered when using written communication is the difference of meaning information received between two sides. The appearance of multiple meanings is called ambiguity. Ambiguity is the occurrence of multiple meanings in a sentence that is caused by the use of sentence patterns error. In this research, the application of Left-Corner Parsing method is applied to software media to check a sentence pattern in Bahasa Indonesia which the output is ambiguous or unambiguous sentence. The test data used in this study is a single sentence. Stages of checking sentence pattern begin with pre-processing including case folding, tokenizing and Part Of Speech Tagging. After that stage, the process of checking the sentence utilized the LeftCorner Parsing method from the pre-processing process to determine if the sentence is ambiguous or unambiguous sentence. The result of this research shows that Left-Corner Parsing method is good enough to check the ambiguity of Bahasa Indonesia sentences.
