  • This study aims to obtain information about the influence of SAVI approach to the activities and learning outcomes of learners on the respiratory system material grade VIII JHS 17 Palembang. The research method used is Quasi Experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Determination of research sample using Simple Random Sampling, got research sample that is class VIII.7 as experiment class and class VIII.6 as control class. Methods of data collection is done by the test in the form of multiple choice questions and observation sheets. Based on the statistical test of students learning outcomes using SPSS 24, the normality of data gain above 0.05 which means normal data, followed by hypothesis testing using t-test with Sig value 0.00 means Ho rejected and H1 accepted. This means that the SAVI approach has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of learners. The activity statistic test also used spss 24, and the normality of activity data was found for 4 meetings data is normal distributed and hypothesis test result value of Sig 0.00 means Ho is rejected and H1 accepted. This means that the SAVI approach has a significant effect on the activities of learners. Based on this matter, it is known that SAVI approach has a significant effect on the activity and learning outcomes of learners on the material of the VIII class system of JHS 17 Palembang.
