ANALISIS PERILAKU DAN PENDAPATAN PETANI TRANSMIGRAN DAN LOKAL DALAM PENGEMBANGAN PERTANIAN LAHAN BERGAMBUT DI KECAMATAN TALANG KELAPA BANYUASIN

- The purpose of this research are: (1) identifying the behavior of transmigrant and local farmers in peatland agriculture development in Talang Kelapa district Banyuasin, (2) calculating the income of transmigrant and local farmers in peatland agriculture development in Talang Kelapa district Banyuasin, (3) analyzing the differences of the income of transmigrant and local farmers in peatland agriculture development in Talang Kelapa district Banyuasin. This research was conducted from January to March 2019 in Talang Kelapa district. This research use the survey method and proportionate stratified random sampling method which are 30 transmigrant dan 10 local farmers. This research collects primary data obtained through the observation from the field and farmers and secondary data obtained trough the literature include books, journals and websites. The behavior data processed by scoring method and the result are tabulated and explained descriptively and than calculates the income of the transmigrant and local farmers to analize the difference income using the T-test formula. The result of this research are:(1) the behavior of transmigrant farmers in peatland agriculture development in Talang Kelapa is at a high criteria with a total score of 120,36 while the behavior of local farmers is in the medium criteria with a total score of 114,30, (2) the average income of transmigrant farmers which invest rubber commodities is IDR 7.601.343,02 and those invest oil palm amounting to IDR 7.111.111,14 per hectare per year. The income of local farmers who invest rubber is IDR 7.130.230,86 and those invest oil palm is IDR 7.114.296,39 per hectare in per year when the research was carried out, (3) based to statistics test that there is not a significant differences income between transmigrant and local farmers in peatland agriculture development in Talang Kelapa.
