The purpose of this research is to know the role of Inspectorate in Prabumulih City to improve the quality of Prabumulih City financial report. This research using descriptive type with qualitative approach. Data obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. The result in this research shows that the Inspectorate of Prabumulih City has an important role to improve the quality of Prabumulih City Government's financial report which previously Prabumulih City received Qualified opinion in 2012, and Unqualified opinion in 2013 by increasing work of implementation inspection supervision, and follow-up evaluation. Likewise with the implementation of reviews of financial report that began to be done and improved better in its implementation and improvements in coaching or consultation to the auditors and regional work units in the Government of Prabumulih City.
