  • Background: The problem in this research analyzes the number of Hirschprung sufferers in RSUP dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang in 2015-2018. The purpose of this study determines the incidence of Hirschprung disease in the period January 2015 to December 2018 to help improve the quality of life of Hirschprung sufferers. Method: The type of research used is descriptive with cross sectional design. This study uses secondary data in the medical record forms of Hirschprung patients who are hospitalized and treated in the hospital at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang for the period January 2015 to December 2018. Sampling data used is purposive sampling technique, based on the criteria set by the researcher. The criteria specified include inclusion criteria. Results: Based on the research it can be concluded that the incidence of Hirschprung during the period 1 January 2015-31 December 2018 is 0,006357%, which is 82 cases of Hirschprung patients. There are 44 patients (53,7%) of Hirschprung sufferers aged <1 year in RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Based on gender, the highest proportion of patients is male sex 73,4% and the lowest is female patients 25,6%. This study found 18,3% of patients who experienced Down syndrome and 45,1% of patients had a family history. The most common complication found in Hirschprung patients is septicemia as much as 22 (26,8%) and the most rare complication found in patients is stenosis which is as much as 4 (4,9%) patients. Main Complaints Hirschprung's disease that most often occurs in Hirschprung sufferers, which is bloated stomach as many as 54 (65,9%) patients and most rarely is green vomiting as much as 5 (6,1%) patients.
