  • Nilaparvata lugens is one of the main pests in rice plants. N. lugens can be controlled by using entomopathogenic fungi. Brown planthopper is a pest that is difficult to detect, but the existence of brown planthopper can threaten the stability of national rice crop. N. lugens can be controlled by using entomopathogenic fungi. One entomopathogenic fungi that can be used to control N. lugens is B. bassiana. This research aims to count mortality of N. lugens and to count the death time of N. lugens which has been applied bioinsecticide consisting B. bassiana. The benefit of this research is can know which bioinsecticide is good control brown planthopper. This research used Completely Randomized Design (RAL) using 7 treatments and 5 replications. The entomopathogenic fungal isolates used were Siti Herlinda's private collection. The results of this research showed that the highest Mortality N. lugens (100%) were found in the lowest BPcMs shaker and mortality (61.6%) bioinsecticide in the BPcMs isolates at concentrations of 5 x 105 conidia/cm2. The fastest death time of N. lugens was found in bioinsecticide BPcMs shaker with LT50 146,80 hours and the lowest in isolate BPcMs with LT50 618,00 hours at concentration 5 x 105 conidia/cm2.
