- The title of this study is "Development of Early Mathematical Learning Material Shaped The Elevator The Flap Book For Ages 5-6 Years". The study aimed to produce the earliest mathematical teaching materials in the form of a valid and very practical flap lift elevator for children aged 5-6 years. The development of teaching materials in the form of the flap book lift contains early mathematical materials such as the concept of numbers, geometric forms and measurement concepts in its development using a combination of Rowntree's development model and Tessmer's evaluation. The Rowntree development model consists of three stages: planning, development and evaluation. At the evaluation stage, the formative evaluation proposed by Tessmer consists of five stages: self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group evaluation and field test. However, because this study only tested the validity and practicality, the research was conducted only until small group stage. Techniques of collecting data using observation techniques. Expert review results from the material experts validation of 3.87% (very valid category). While the validation results from media / product experts amounted to 3.75% (very valid category). On average, in one-to-one evaluation, the average of children's observation result is 86% (very practical category). While in the small group evaluation stage, the average result on observation is 87,6% (very practical category). teaching materials in the form of the elevator flap book is declared valid and practical for use in children in the process of learning and learning takes place.
