- Limbang Jaya is one of villages which has the contributions on crafts preservation in South Sumatra. The people of Limbang Jaya have potency to weave songket. However, there is a problem related to their productivity. This research aims to determine profile of songket crafters at Limbang Jaya that related to the factors which affect productivity of crafters. The independent variables researched are age, work-period, education, number of family dependants, income, work-motivations, work-cultures, and business-motivations. The research uses cross sectional design and purposive random sampling in sampling technique. Research samples consist of 104 crafters. The method used is correspondence analysis. The result of bivariate analysis by using simple correspondence analysis and multiple correspondence analysis show that the variables affect productivity of crafters at Limbang Jaya are work-period and business-motivations. The result of multivariate analysis by using multiple correspondence analysis shows that the crafters at Limbang Jaya who have high business-motivations and work-period around 32 till 62 years have the low productivity. Despite of that, songket crafters who have very high businessmotivations and work-period around 16 till 31 years have the high productivity.
