- This thesis analyzes the public relation of the Secretariat DPRD in managing the aspirations of maysrakat. The research of the dilator is behind the involvement of the role of the community in the compilation of community aspirations in the Palembang DPRD secretariat. So, the role of public relations is needed in running the management of community aspirations. The purpose of this paper is to find out how the role of public relations in managing community aspirations used by the public relations secretariat of the Palembang City DPRD. The results of this study indicate that the role of public relations in managing community aspirations, regulates the aspirations of the community so that they can facilitate and document activities so that they can be processed into news for the public and documented by public relations. The results of this study indicate the role of the Secretariat DPRD Public Relations in managing community aspirations, namely by giving full freedom to the community and giving community opinions, providing information and managing information, facilitating community activities and councils and cooperating with parties related to others.
