- Sumatera Ekspres Newspaper is one of the largest newspaper company in Palembang. This company will not work and moving forward without journalist hunting for interesting mews. For newspaper company, the mistake in hiring journalist can bring the negative impacts for it. This can be a problem because Sumatera Ekspres Newspaper is facing some obstacle in the hiring system which is still subjective. Since that, the best solution is to implicate Decision Supporting System (DSS) that can count all the aspect of criteria in hiring journalist. This Decision Supporting System is using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method that will be able to help the company looking for the best pick among the best candidates that meet to the criteria the company needed that in the end, the system can decide which one of them deserve to be hired.
