- Many organizations or companies are still not optimizing information technology as a strong foundation in raising the position or promotion of employees, it is still possible if the boss or the people in power in a company still promoting or positioning employees with subjective in the sense and there is no strong fact why the employee get promotion. It creates a perception of injustice for other employees that will result in negative consequences for the organization or company. From some of the problems found, the authors make a study titled Decision Support System For The Promotion of Employee at PT. CNG Hilir Raya Using Weighted Product Method that can be used by company. With the help of decision support system, the promotion will make the company become more professional in determining the promoted employees.
