- Job discipline has an important role in realizing the vision of the mission or organization. While at the Plantation Office still found a case of discipline violation of working hours. The purpose of this study is to know the Working Discipline of Field Processing and Marketing of Results at the Provincial Plantation of South Sumatra. This research is a qualitative research with qualitative descriptive data analysis technique by analyzing primary data first then reinforced by analyzing secondary data. The method of analysis used is in-depth interviews, documentation and observation. The results showed that the Working Discipline of Plantation Office of South Sumatera Province there is no significant constraint. Judging from the dimensions of employee discipline dimensions (Soejono Soekanto : 2000) ranging from punctuality, compliance and caution. The recommendation of this study is that sanctions or punishment should be given to employees who violate the discipline of work more seriously such as direct reprimand in order to provide deterrent effect for the violators of discipline it self and also expedite the implementation of a work from the plan, the process to the realization and use improve the work discipline of employees at the Plantation Office of South Sumatra Province better.
