MOTIVASI TERAPIS DALAM PROSES MENINGKATKAN PERKEMBANGAN ANAK AUTISME DI BINA AUTIS MANDIRI PALEMBANG

- This study aims to determine the level of motivation autism therapist at Yayasan Bina Autis Mandiri Palembang. This research was conducted with descriptive quantitative research approaches. By using the population technique then the number of existing population, taken entirely into a sample of research totaling 20 people. Data were collected using questionnaire, observation, and documentation. Then the data processed and analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results showed that the relatively high level of motivation therapist. The shape of the level of motivation is evident from the high therapists desire to improve the capabilities they already had, the high sense of responsibility for a given task, and the low expectation of gaining salary/wages in performing the task. It was concluded that despite having various challenges in implementing the tasks of autism therapy, the therapist still has a high motivation in carrying out the task and try to achieve the expected results.
